Dadon, Yaish
Son of Isha-Eliza and Moshe. Yaish was born in Morocco on July 1, 1934. In 1954 Yaish immigrated to Israel with his family and became the main breadwinner in the family, following the death of his father before their immigration. The family lived in Moshav Sativa in the Beit She’an Valley. After Yaish married his wife, Fortuna, they lived together in Moshav Yagel, in the center of the country, where their nine children were born. Yaish was a loved man, honest and modest, with a vision and a broad vision. He educated his children for the love of the land and for an appropriate culture. Yaish joined the Border Police on 27.12.1968 and served with dedication. On the 29th of Nissan, March 29, 1980, Sergeant Shani Yaish fell while serving. Forty-six years old. He was buried in the Lod cemetery. Survived by a wife and nine children.
