Crispin, Isaac


Son of Rafael and Rachel. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria on March 26, 1939. In 1948, at the height of the War of Independence, the family immigrated to Israel and settled in Ramle, where he graduated from elementary school in Ramle. And his teacher, who was very close to him, even tried to convince him to continue studying at the Bezalel School of Art in Jerusalem, but due to the difficult economic situation, he was educated in a youth group at Kibbutz Evron. He was laid to rest at the Ramle cemetery. The letter of condolence sent by the Minister of Defense to the widow states: “Sergeant Yitzhak Crispin gave his life for his homeland – he was an excellent soldier and a beloved commander.” A year after his fall, the cultural committee of the Egged branch in Ramla published a memorial page .
