Coschi, Asher


Son of Shimon and Malka. Born on August 28, 1943 in Tel Aviv, he completed his studies at the Moriah State Religious School and studied for two years in a vocational high school in Netanya. He was a good student, diligent and quiet and not bad for anyone. He had many friends with whom he spent a lot of time. Who began to work in the electrical profession he had learned and progressed well in his work. He was skilled in his profession even after choosing a different profession, he worked in an electrical laboratory he built near his home and built lamps and installed delicate instruments. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement. Devoted his time to a collection of key chains as a hobby. Who enlisted in the IDF in early February 1962 and was assigned to the Golani Brigade, after which he underwent a rifle training course and was trained as an employee who completed most of his regular army service for the welfare of his fellow soldiers. The sudden death of his father, who was accepted to work in the Netanya municipality, was married to a wife who was very attached to his family and cared for his family, his wife and two children, and his widowed mother and his orphaned siblings. During the Six-Day War he participated in battles in the Golan Heights and was wounded He completed his work in the municipality as a supervisor with dedication, to the satisfaction of the superiors, and during his leisure time he did his small lab where he repaired radios and engaged in electrical experiments. Was buried in the military cemetery in Netanya and left a wife and two children in a letter of condolence to the family: “Asher was a disciplined soldier who fulfilled his duties with dedication and loyalty, both in his regular service in the combat unit and in the reserve service.”
