Cos, Carlos

Son of Yitzhak and Rachel. He was born in Argentina in 1913 and immigrated to Israel in 1973. He studied at the elementary school and high school in Salta, Argentina, where he studied medicine at the University of Cordoba and completed his studies successfully. After his son Isaac was born, Carlos was drafted into the IDF in January 1975. He was sent to serve as a medical officer in the hospital in Safed and was very successful in his position. He became fond of his fellow doctors and was considered an excellent doctor. On February 4, 1976, Carlos died while serving in the Safed cemetery, leaving a wife and son in Israel, as well as parents and relatives in Argentina.
