Cooper, Meir

Son of-Gila and Yaakov, was born in Poland in 1926 and immigrated to Israel on the ship “United Nations” on 1.1.1948. Upon his arrival he joined Kibbutz Ramat Hakovesh. During the War of Independence he was temporarily recruited to the Alexandroni Brigade and on May 10, 1948, he fell in the defense of his kibbutz and was brought to rest in the cemetery at Ramat Hakovesh.
