Confino, Baruch
Born in Tel Aviv on March 21, 1939. Baruch studied at the Tachkemoni religious elementary school, where he studied at the “Max-Fine” vocational school and acquired the profession Baruch continued his studies at the ORT school in evening studies, specializing in building electricity, Baruch was an outstanding athlete in various sports, and Baruch was drafted into the IDF in late November 1956 and served in the Signal Corps. Participated in the Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War. At the end of May 1959 Baruch was released from regular service and began to work in the profession he acquired. Baruch was modest and honest, he had many friends. His friends from childhood and adolescence remained faithful, met many with them, and became the living spirit among them. Baruch married Aviva, and the couple settled in Daughter of-Yam. He was an exemplary family man and a devoted father to his two children – Sarit and Shai. All he gave to his close and distant family – and took care of every detail. His friends remember him, as if he was always willing to help without limit. On the 28th of Kislev 5764 (28.6.1984), Baruch fell during his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Holon. He left behind a wife, daughter, son, parents and two sisters
