Was born on March 23, 1928, in the city of Bedzin, Poland, where he suffered the hardships of the Nazi occupation and was transported by train to a death camp, After the liberation, he moved to Italy and in 1945 he boarded the ship “Metroy.” The immigrants were captured by the British and transferred to the Atlit camp, and after a while they were liberated From the camp he came straight to the son of Shemen youth village, and when he arrived he was small, thin and worn out, but within a few months he developed into a healthy and strong young man. He joined the “HaNoar HaOved” group, which went on a training program for Deganya Aleph (the “Hachushalim” group) and received praise for his work in the kibbutz, but because of the situation in Israel he joined the ranks of the Haganah. And in his battles in the Upper and Eastern Galilee. As a fighter in the “Yiftach” brigade he participated in the defense of Ein Zeitim and Safed while still in the British-Arab position. Standing guard at the checkpoint before the Arab part was wounded in the stomach by a sniper bullet and after six days of suffering at the hospital died on the 13th of Adar 2, 5708 (March 24, 1948). He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Safed.
