Cohen, Zohar

Daughter of Esther and Meir. Zohar was born in Jerusalem on the 27th of Tishrei 5714 (27.9.1953). Daughter of parents from Morocco and Tunisia. She spent most of her childhood in Be’er Sheva, since her father was a regular army man in the south of the country. Zohar was among the founders of Kibbutz Lotem in the north, in a core of urbanism, in 1981. She married Yehuda Cohen, a police officer, and they had two children – Adi and Avi. Zohar was recruited to the police in 1986, when she was already the mother of two children. It was absorbed into the intelligence system from the beginning. She spent most of her service in the Israel Police in the Galilee, always in the Intelligence Bureau. She also went abroad with her husband as a representative of the Israel Police in Turkey Sergeant First Sergeant Zohar died of cancer on September 10, 1995.
