Son of Avraham and Miriam. He was born in Aleppo in Syria in 1932. After Zionist activity in Syria, at the end of World War II, the father decided to immigrate to Israel with his family, and after Zion graduated from elementary school, His father and his two sisters fell on Zion’s shoulders, and when he immigrated to Israel, Zion continued his tradition of working in a youth organization in Aleppo and immediately volunteered for the underground (Etzel) and took part in several actions against British rule. In Israel. Then he fought in the War of Independence. He was wounded in the battle for Mount Zion, which was one of the first to participate. The Sinai Campaign also had a score among its first participants. He found his bread as an employee in the laundry and spent his leisure time in sports – especially in the soccer game. From time to time he was called up for reserve service and was called to the flag on the eve of the Six-Day War, in which he was a dedicated and responsible commander who headed his men and did more than expected – and was therefore loved and accepted by all his comrades in the company. He fell in a front post in a battle that took place in the Pagi neighborhood of Jerusalem on the second day of her battles, on May 6, 1967.
