Cohen, Yosef (Yossi)

Ben Yitzhak and Rivka. Joseph (Yossi) was born on May 17, 1963, in Morocco. That same year the family immigrated to Israel, to Ashdod. Yossi grew up and was educated in educational institutions in the city and completed his studies at a religious boarding school “Bayit Vegan” in Jerusalem. When he joined the IDF, Yossi joined the Israel Police and served as an undercover agent in the Tel Aviv District, where he was transferred to the central unit of the Central District, where he held a number of command and officer positions. Yossi was married to Miriam and they had two children, and Superintendent Yossi fell during his service on the 21 th of Shvat 5761 (21.1.1991). 2005. He was forty-two years old when he died, and was buried in the Ashdod cemetery.
