Cohen, Yosef (Yossele)


Son of Hanna and Moshe, was born on May 10, 1920 in Petah Tikva. Before he could finish school and was already forced to earn his living. Over the years he became an expert carpenter, producing packing boxes. He established a family and earned a living. He spent all his life in Petah Tikva. Joseph fell in Kfar Sirkin near the Pillbox in the course of his duties on 4 July 1948. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Petach Tikva and was followed by a wife, Esther, and three daughters.
