Cohen, Yosef

The youngest son of Dina and Avraham, was born on the 22nd of Heshvon, November 5, 1928, in the Neve Shalom neighborhood of Tel Aviv. When he was born, his weight was much lower than normal and it was uncertain whether he would survive, but he grew up to be a healthy, handsome boy. Without his parents’ knowledge, he was active in the Hagana underground. He fell on the 26th of Kislav, December 28, 1948, and on 17 Kislav, December 8, 1949, and was transferred to the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
