Cohen, Yitzhak (“Junjak” and “Itzik”)

Son of Michael (HaKohen) and Esther. Born on January 1, 1947 in Tangier, he immigrated to Israel in 1949. After completing his studies at the Gershon Agron Elementary School in Kiryat Hayovel in Jerusalem, he attended school He was active in the youth center in Kiryat Hayovel and also belonged to the Gadna. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1965 and studied at the Ministry of Labor’s School of Mechanics in cooperation with the IDF. On the 26th of Mershvan, 5721 (21.11.1965), he died of his illness and was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
