Cohen, William
Son of Yosef and Marcel. He was born on March 19, 1933, in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Graduated from Alliance High School in his city. He was a member of the underground Zionist He – Chaluts movement in Iraq. He immigrated to Israel in 1950 and studied at the Max Payne School in Tel Aviv. Worked for three years at the Orlogin factory in Ramat Gan. From his youth he was a social man and loved by all his friends and acquaintances. He tended to art and literature, and especially to music. He devoted himself to a collection of classical works that numbered about seventy. Yes he liked sports.
