Cohen, Shabtai (Shaby)

Was born on July 22, 1920 in Jerusalem, where he received extensive knowledge in various fields, and when he got to Bar Mitzvah age he joined the ranks of the Haganah. When the War of Independence broke out he was drafted into the Engineering Corps and sent to various places in the city and its environs for fortifications. He was buried in Sheikh Bader A. On August 30, 1950, He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
