Cohen, Ratzon (Rabbeinu)

Son of Shifra and Nathan, was born in 1928 in Yemen. When he was three, he immigrated with his parents to Israel and the family settled in Tel Aviv. He participated in the action near Kastina, in the battle for Jaffa, and later in the Etzel campaign against Ramle, where he fell at the railway junction on 4 Sivan, June 11, 1948). On the 12th of Sivan 5712 (5.6.1952) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
