Cohen, Oren


Ben Dina and Joseph. Born on 30.3.1974 in Kiryat Gat, he went to the “Neviim” elementary school and went on to junior high school at Rogozin High School, then moved to the ORT vocational school where he studied At the end of 11th grade, he stopped his studies and went to work. Oren was a quiet, shy boy who loved nature and hiking. He was interested in motorcycles, ATVs and sports cars. He practiced sports, played football, basketball and tennis, but mostly liked to nurture ornamental gardens. Prior to his recruitment, he worked in earthworks, in the building, as well as paving sidewalks and breaking paths. Be willing to help others as much as necessary. Prior to his induction, he volunteered to take a pre-military course in driving. He joined the army at the end of August 1992. Oren fell in the line of duty on August 29, 1992, a few days after his enlistment and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Gat. Survived by his parents and two brothers – Michael and Hagai. The family continues to cultivate ornamental gardens in his memory.
