Cohen, Nissim

Son of Shalom and Marcel. He was born on the 29th of Adar II, 5711 (1951) in Hadera. He attended the “Tachkemoni” elementary school and the “Neurim” high school – both in Netanya. He naturally loved helping others and always helped the weak. In his neighborhood, he was loved by all and would willingly respond to any request from his neighbors for help, such as repairing a faucet, erecting a barbed wire fence, and doing household tasks, such as planting trees or planting grass. He was very devoted to his parents, modest in his ways, meticulous in all his ways and deeds and saving. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in February 1969 and served in the Armored Corps, and was given his father’s military salary on August 24, 1969.
