Cohen, Nissim
Son of Salameh and Yehuda. Born in 1942 in Yemen, Nissim grew up in Israel and was educated in Jerusalem and was a young man full of life, who loved the people and the homeland and helped everyone. He was stationed in the infantry of the Golani Brigade. Nissim completed his long and arduous basic training course and was sent to serve in the battalion. He continued his training as a combat soldier in the regiment, and in 1962 Nissim was released from compulsory service, and Nissim was an outstanding soldier, who was awarded the Yom Kippur War, the Six Day War and the Peace of the Galilee for his participation in these wars. On February 9, 1986, Nissim was called to active reserve duty and went to his unit in the Artillery Corps on February 22, 1986. He fell during his service and was brought to rest at Har Hamenuhot in Givat Shaul in Jerusalem. – Yehuda, two sisters – Levana and Shula, and two brothers – Ya’akov and Saadia
