Cohen-Mizrahi, Yitzhak


He was born in Eretz Israel and during the First World War was one of the first volunteers of the British Army in Palestine. At the end of the war, and after the battalion was dispersed, he joined the Israel Police. On the night of the first of Iyar 5723 (17.4.1923), after he finished his vigil near the Yemin Moshe neighborhood in Jerusalem, he went to his home and was shot in the ambush. He was laid to rest in the Mount of Olives cemetery.
