Cohen, Meir (Dubi)

Son of Hava and Eli, was born on 21.3.1963 in Moshav Goren in the Western Galilee. He completed his studies at the elementary school in Moshav Betzet. Afterward, he studied in vocational schools and worked as a car painter and painter. Meir served as a model for his kindness, his love for others and the need to volunteer for any mission. In February 1981, Meir enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to serve as a policeman in the Border Police, during which he fought in the Peace for Galilee War, and during the war he was employed in routine security. Who was buried in the military cemetery in Nahariya, and left behind his parents, brothers and sisters, and the family commemorated him with holy accessories that brought him to the “Elijah the Prophet” yeshiva in Ma’alot
