Cohen, Herzl


Son of Sima and Meir. He was born on December 12, 1968 in Rishon Letzion. He began his studies at the “Remez” elementary school and continued his studies at the ORT high school in Rishon Letzion, where he was a football fan. At the beginning of January 1987, Herzl was drafted into compulsory military service, and was appointed by the Air Force, and his commanding officer testified that he was a quiet and disciplined soldier and performed his duties properly On July 7, 1987, Herzl, – Roads that occurred at Beit Dagon junction. He was nineteen when he died. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion. Survived by his parents, two brothers – Shlomi and Ilan, and two sisters – Anita and Geula. In his letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the unit commander wrote: “Herzl’s contribution during the short period of his service with us was great, and his absence is noticeable at all times … He was a humble, humble, and very acceptable soldier who performed his duties impeccably and was ready to help at any time.”
