Cohen, Ezra (Jacob)

Ezra, son of Hassan (Hacohen) and Chana Cohen, was born on October 7, 1950 in Rosh Ha’ayin.He was drafted to the IDF in 1969 and was assigned to the infantry. After basic training, he took a driving course. Later he was sent, at his request, to a parachuting course and successfully completed. On the 29th of Adar 2, 5736 (March 31, 1976), Yaakov fell while serving in the north of the country. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his wife and son, mother, four sisters and three brothers.
