Cohen, Eliyahu

Son of Leah and Yona Born in 1901 in Russia and immigrated to Israel in 1911. He was a member of the Haganah and found fighting in various works (shoemaking, plastering, and fingers). Eliahu fell in the line of duty on the 18th of Iyar 5708 (May 27, 1948) and was buried in Sheikh Bader. He left a wife and six children. On the 29th of Tishrei 5711 (29.9.1950) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
