Eitan, son of Shulamit and Saadia, was born on April 13, 1952 in Petah Tikva. He attended elementary school and completed his studies at the Amal High School in Petah Tikva, with the aim of electrifying planes. Eitan was drafted into the IDF in May 1970 and volunteered for the paratroopers, completing a paratroopers course, a sniper course, a sniper rifle course, a infantry training course and a squadron commander’s course. – for operations beyond enemy lines, and even participated in a raid on Beirut, told his friend in the service, Danny: “Eitan was a serious guy and even his smile showed seriousness. To help his friends he was prepared to go through fire and water. Eitan was humble and humble. He never boasted of his actions and showed no trace of condescension. He was very gentle, yet strong and strong in spirit. “In the Yom Kippur War, Eitan voluntarily volunteered for an elite reconnaissance unit that was assigned dangerous missions. On the 15th of Tishrei 5740 (15.10.1973) he went with a reconnaissance force from Ras Sudar to the north. The unit encountered an ambush by Egyptian commandos, and Eitan fell in battle against them. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents, three brothers and a sister. After his fall, he was promoted to sergeant.
