Cohen, Efrat

Daughter of Naomi and Samuel. Born on the 11th of Elul, August 18, 1975 in Petah Tikva. On June 1, 2008, Efrat enlisted in the Israel Prison Service as an education officer in Neve Tirza Prison. Efrat fell in combat during the Carmel fire on Thursday, 25 Kislev, on December 2, 2010. Efrat was thirty-five years old. She was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Ra’anana, and was survived by her parents, two sisters and a brother. She was awarded the Medal of Honor by the Prisons Service Commissioner after her death.
