Cohen, Chavakuk

Chavakuk, son of Yosef and Yonah Cohen, was born in 1927 in Yemen and immigrated to Israel in 1929. After he was drafted into the IDF in February 1948, he was sent on a secret mission abroad and remained there until the end of the war. When he returned, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. On his return he continued in the career army and reached the rank of lieutenant. He fell in the line of duty on 27 Kislev (26.12.1951) and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion. He left behind a wife.
