Cohen-Biderman, Eliyahu

Son of Esther and Yehuda (Leo). He was born in 1907 in Berlin, Germany, and in 1934 he was admitted to the Haganah in Haifa and volunteered for the Nutras. On 21 Iyar, 10.5.1939, at the end of guarding the governor’s home in the German Colony of Haifa, he was shot by three Arabs. Eliyahu and his friend Dov Berad were killed on the spot, and Eliyahu was brought to rest in the Haganah section of the Haifa cemetery.
