Cohen, Avraham-Zelig (Zigu)


Son of Hinda and Shaul, was born on 28.5.1930 in the city of Galatz, Romania, where he completed his Zionist activities in Betar. He survived the events of the war and the Holocaust that the Jews of occupied Europe underwent, and in 1945 he boarded the Knesset Israel ship, was caught with all its passengers and held for eight months in a camp in Cyprus. When he arrived in Israel, he went to agricultural training in a Betar youth farm in Shuni, near Binyamina, where he continued to work there and to work in the Irgun underground.
