He completed his elementary studies at the Yoseftal School and began his high school studies at the Zinman School and graduated from the Amal vocational high school in Dimona. When he was one year old, his parents separated, and since then the mother alone raised Freddy and his sister with endless dedication and coping with financial difficulties. Next to her were the uncles Miri and Yitzhak Skuri. Freddy, they called him all, was a joyous child. From the age of 12 he worked concurrently with his studies in odd jobs to help his mother and sister. At home, Freddy was a substitute for a father. When he grew up, he learned to appreciate life and had a great love for life. He was a strong boy with tremendous leadership. A beloved boy who had no haters, a boy always surrounded by friends. Those who knew him would never forget him. It is connected to the soul of every person. Freddy grew up with the phrase “Love thy neighbor as thyself,” and believed in him. Freddy grew up young and athletic and flexible, loved sports and also loved to dance, and was known as a great dancer. All his life he had helped his mother, whether in the housework or in the money he had earned from various jobs. He volunteered for a combat engineering unit, was sent to study engineering and worked as a heavy equipment operator, and served on the northern border, in posts in Lebanon, Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley. Freddy was able to serve in a back-end unit but wanted to contribute to the state, so he volunteered to serve in the Combat Engineering Corps. Freddy did whatever he was assigned, regardless of the level of risk, to the best of the best. Best of all, Freddy always helped and helped his friends, I never saw him without a smile on his face – a smile that will forever be remembered in the hearts of us all. ” On February 20, 1997, Freddy was shot and killed by another soldier after an argument broke out between them.
