Cohen, Alfred
Son of Heinrich. He was born in Austria in 1939. He immigrated to Israel in 1939 and worked in Hadera as an agricultural laborer, and in 1939 he joined the British army and was assigned to serve in a military camp in Gush Halav. On 1 Tamuz, June 18, 1939, the truck in which he drove overturned and Alfred was killed. Along with him was the soldier Israel Birnbaum. He was brought to eternal rest in the defense section of the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery. He left behind a brother. His name was immortalized in the booklet “Kofar Hishuv”.
