In this corps he underwent many courses and was ordained as a warehouse / technical clerk. For a period of time he was transferred to the Armament Corps and completed a general locksmith course there. Was involved in society and integrated into it. His commanders admired him as a disciplined soldier, fulfilling his duties properly, and in his certificate of release his behavior was described as very good. In mid-May 1972, Albert was released from regular service because of a reduction in his medical profile and was not even placed in reserve duty. Albert refused to accept the decree and tried to cancel it, because he felt that he could contribute to the IDF and the State, and finally he succeeded, and immediately after he was placed in reserve duty, he applied for a permanent army service on 7 June 1977, 24.5.1977) Albert fell while serving. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Rishon Letzion. Survived by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “Staff Sergeant Cohen Albert served the IDF faithfully, efficiently and fulfilled his duties in full, while being aware of the obligations incumbent upon him as an army man.” Albert served as an example and symbol in fulfilling his duties and fulfilling the tasks assigned to him.
