Cohen, Ahliab

Son of-Eliezer (Hacohen) and Victoria. He was born on November 28, 1926, in Safed. Third generation in Israel. Until age seven, he was educated in a “cheder”. He attended the “Kol Israel Haverim” school and the “BaMaaleh” school in Haifa. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. From 1941 until his enlistment in the IDF he worked on a train and was drafted into the IDF in May 1948. He fell during his duty on the 17th of Tammuz 5710 (2.7.1950) and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa
