Cohen, Aharon-Pinchas


Ben Rachel and Shau.l Born in 1940 in the Tunisian capital of Tunis, Aharon was drafted into the IDF In February 1958, a paratrooper was stationed in the Nahal Brigade and was trained in heavy artillery maneuvers in the Artillery Corps. After his discharge from regular service, Aharon worked as a postal clerk in the Western Galilee, and was known for his dedication and talents. As part of his reserve duty, Aharon fought in the Six Day War with the Paratroopers Brigade for the liberation of Jerusalem, and during the Yom Kippur War he participated in battles in the Golan Heights. Aharon fell in reserve duty on March 23, 1980. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nahariya, where he was 40 years old, Aharon left behind a wife, three sons and two daughters, a mother, Brothers and sisters
