Cohen, Aharon (Iron)
Son of Aliza and David. Born on the 2nd of Tishrei 5729 (2.10.1968) in Haifa, the youngest son of a family with ten children before him, his nickname was “Iron.” He studied at the Shalva elementary school and continued his studies in the junior high school of In the ninth grade, he wanted to move to a boarding school in Alonei Yitzhak, but soon returned to live in his parents’ home and continued his studies at the “Beit HaKakid” vocational school, where he studied electricity and telephone. And began to work, first at a company that supplies electrical appliances and then at Zim, and aspired to be a businessman and was able to travel abroad with family members several times. Aharon was drafted into the IDF in early November 1986. He was assigned to serve in the General Staff, and after serving as a kitchen worker, Aharon was killed during his service on Tuesday, 31.5.1987, and was buried at the Carmel Beach Military Cemetery. Survived by his parents, seven sisters – Miriam, Shoshana, Simcha, Ada, Ziona, Dalia and Daughter of-Sheva and three brothers – Abraham, Shlomo and Eliyahu. The family commemorated the dedication of lamps and chandeliers to the synagogue in Daughter of Galim.
