Cody, Nissim


Son of Saadia and Shulamit. He was born in 1928 in Aden, Yemen and immigrated to Israel in 1934. He completed “Talmud Torah” in Tel Aviv, and then began to help his father. Nissim was quiet, modest and simple, looking after his home and devoted to his friends. When he was in the IDF, he was injured in the course of his duty on the 29th of Tevet, January 18, 1950 and a few hours later died of his wounds. Nissim was laid rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak. A short time before he fell, he had made all preparations for his marriage.
