Chemdon, Saleh


Son of Jaber and Salameh. Saleh was born in the village of Rama on January 6, 1953. He grew up in his village. His loved ones and his family say that he was a child loved by all those around him. His social relations focused on various places and regions, and were expressed in a spirit of volunteering and helping others. His passion for sport, swimming and music was great. After his studies, Salah joined the Border Police. On day 1.7. 1971, when he was in the IDF Nahal 906 training course, Saleh left at 7:00 am to guard the munitions bunker of the base in Mount Zion, 10.7. 1971 at 16:45, some distance from the guard post. Corporal Saleh was eighteen years old when he fell. He was buried in the cemetery in the village of Rama.
