Chazan, Yigal

Son of Rina and Eliahu, the eldest son of his family, was born on 9 October 1959. In 1977 Yigal joined the IDF. He asked to join the Paratroopers Brigade or another combat unit. On the 23rd of Tevet 5741 (29.12.1980) Yigal was about to be discharged from the IDF. It was evening, the weather was rainy, when his friend drove him from Lod to Tel Aviv. On the way the car overturned and Yigal was killed. He was 21 years old when he died.
