Chaski, Yaffa-Yafit
Daughter of Sarah and Joseph. She was born on July 29, 1972, the youngest daughter of her parents. She studied at Batya Elementary School in Bat Yam. After that, she graduated from the Ramat-Yosef ORT high school in the pedagogic track. Yafit was a diligent, diligent student. She was fond of her friends and they frequented her home. Yafit loved to travel in Israel and one of her goals was to become a tour guide. She also participated in folk dancing. She listened with pleasure to music and especially to Hebrew songs, and liked to paint. During summer vacations she worked as a summer camp counselor. As a graduate of a pedagogic trend, she planned to study early childhood education. Yafit was gentle, honest and responsible and respected others. At the end of December 1990, she was drafted into the IDF, and Yafit saw the military service as a challenge and an opportunity to contribute from a lecturer. As soon as she was released from regular army service, Yafit was enrolled in the Western Galilee College, but did not succeed in fulfilling her plans.22 On 29.2.1992 Yafit fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in Beit- The military cemetery in Holon left behind her parents, three brothers – David, Shlomo and Shimon and a sister – Mira She remembered her parents contributing a Torah Curtain and a Torah library to the Beit Yisrael synagogue in Bat-Yam.
