Chamoodah, Ahmed


Son of Faiza and Ali. Was born on 28 July 1982 in the Bedouin village of Bu’ayna-Nujeidat. He is the fourth of nine children in the family. Ahmed grew up in his native village, where he graduated from elementary and high school. Ahmad worked at the “Chicken of the Galilee” factory in Kiryat Shmona and at the same time treated and cared for his parents and younger siblings. In August 2000, Ahmed volunteered for army service and completed basic training and a number of successful courses and served in the reconnaissance battalion, and was a good man and a disciplined soldier, a good and loyal friend to his friends, who was always loved by everyone and admired for his character Ahmed was a candidate for a commanding officer course, but did not get it. On Friday, January 31, 2003, Ahmad went for a ride in a “Abir” military truck in the direction of Kerem Shalom. On his way back the truck overturned and Ahmed was killed on the spot. He was twenty-one when he died. Ahmed Nittman in the civil cemetery in his village of Bueina-Nujeidat. Survived by his parents and eight brothers and sisters: Samih, Muhammad, Hisham, Walid, Fatna, Mahmoud, Asma, and Ayat. After his death he was promoted to sergeant.
