Chaim, Shalom
Son of Menachem and Miriam. He was born on the 11th of Sivan 571 (June 1, 1951) in Ra’anana. He attended the “Yavne” elementary school there. He was a devoted son to his parents, a dear friend of his relatives and friends, a friendly and acceptable person and loyal to Jewish tradition. Although he was a shy boy, he was smart and intelligent. He had never complained and was always Simcha. He worked as a painter and turned out to be a talented boy whom his employers trusted. In May 1969 he enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to the Armored Corps, and during his service he helped his friends whenever he could. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Ra’anana. Shalom’s name was immortalized in a Torah scroll called Or Shalom.
