Chaim, Saadia
Son of Menachem and Leah. Born in 1946, in Yemen and immigrated to Israel in 1949. Saadia completed his studies at the Tzalfon elementary school in Jerusalem, and then studied at the Aliya Institute. He was drafted in August 1967. Saadia decided that, after completing his regular service, he would attend a seminar for training and activities in moshavim, on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture. His parents pressed him to postpone his military service, but he did not respond to their pleas. On the 15th of Elul, September 8, 1968 he fell in the line of duty. He was buried in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
