Chaim, Rachel

Daughter of Asher and Rosa. She was born on September 19, 1950 in Tel Aviv. She attended the Dov Hoz Elementary School and the Eshkolot High School – both in Jaffa. When she was in elementary school, she was a member of the Beitar youth movement, and her integrity and kindness were two of her most Yaffa qualities and gave her the image of a full and noble person, and as a teenager she abandoned all activities in youth movements and when she completed her elementary studies, At the same time, her high school studies and all her salary were given to her parents, who were without means and were very helpful in the household agriculture, and she always cared for her parents, her student brother, and for Arusa, who loved without limit. February 1969 she was drafted into the IDF. On the 24th of Tammuz 5770 (24.7.1970), she fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
