Chaim, Joshua


Son of Vita and Fortuna. Was born on September 13, 1939 in Cairo, Egypt, where he studied in a public school and a high school. He also trained in dental technicians in his city. In 1965 he immigrated with his family to Israel and settled in Yavneh. Yehoshua worked at the “Cargal” factories in Lod and the “Segal” factory in Yavneh, and acquired many friends from his colleagues and acquaintances whom he liked for his excellent qualities. He bothered to learn the Hebrew language because he wanted to work in Israel in a profession he had acquired – a dental technician. Yehoshua enlisted in the IDF in mid-January 1967. Following his age, he took a rifle course and was drafted for reserve duty, and every year he went out to reserve duty with full Lev and dedication On the 29th of Adar 5773 (April 1, 1973) In a stronghold on the edge of the Suez Canal, and in the last few minutes he asked the doctor and his commander to pass on his love to his wife and children and was brought to rest in the military section of the Ramle military cemetery.
