Caspi, Eliezer


Son of Avraham and Rivka. He was born on January 17, 1924 in the city of Cube in Russia. He studied at the “Tarbut” school there. He immigrated to Israel in 1935. He completed his studies at the elementary school of PIKA and at the Ahad Ha’am high school in Petach-Tikva, where he read and completed his studies and thirsted for information. He continued his studies at the Beit HaKerem Teachers’ Seminary, Award for the late Rabbi David Yellin. He served as a teacher for four years at the Nes Ziona School in Tel Aviv (which later became the Graz School) and became very fond of students and their parents. But his desire for education gave him no rest and he went on to study in England, where he studied at the Harold Lasky School of Economics in London. During his stay in England, he served as a teacher in the educational institution in Brighton. During the Haganah he served as a patrolman and after his enlistment in the IDF in July 1948 he continued in the career army and attained the rank of major. For a rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, he left a wife and a baby.
