On August 13, 1946, the authorities declared a curfew on the streets of Haifa to prevent a gathering of protest, and the angry residents violated the curfew and rushed to the streets to protest the deportation. , With water jets and gunshots in the air, and in one of the streets they fired without warning at the crowd, wounding three people, including Ze’ev, and he was laid to rest in the Haifa cemetery. In his memoir, published by his friends in Mishmar Le’Yeladim, he said: “Zeev lived our lives, overcame the obstacles we encountered on our way, and in some factories he was the first to perform his work.
