Carmel, Uriel (Uri)
Son of Menashe and Fela. He was born on May 3, 1943 in Tel Aviv. After graduating from elementary school, he entered the ORT high school and specialized in radio and electronics. He was a member of the Scouts for almost eight years, until he enlisted in the IDF, loved music with all his soul and played several musical instruments (piano and accordion), and in July 1961 he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Israel Air Force. He went on a navigational course in 1963. He reached the rank of lieutenant colonel. On the 18th of Iyar, 5724 (April 29, 1964), he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He put a wife in her pregnancy.
