Hazan, Isaac (“Jack”, “Zaki”)


Son of Masoud and Rachel. Born on December 12, 1942 in the city of Rabat, Morocco, the family immigrated to Israel in 1957 after graduating from a secret school in Morocco, where he began studying at the Neve Ya’ar youth center in the Alonim class. Who moved to Tel Aviv and worked in the “HaPoel Hatza’ir” printing press in Tel Aviv, where he not only supported himself but also helped his parents and when he came to their home (in Afula Elite) he brought his savings to them and also gave them gifts like a good hand. He wanted to buy knowledge and to increase knowledge and learn languages, and he would like to talk about various subjects, from soccer to the chances of unification of the labor movement. Before he was drafted in May 1960, he said, “When there seems to be no choice; We will have to fight the enemy. “During his regular service, he took part in the battle for Nukeib in Syria, and after this service, while in reserve duty, he participated in the raid on Qalqiliya, because he loved the country and was willing to give his life for it. And on the last day of his life on the 13th of Sivan 5727 (June 20, 1967), he was taken to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Afula.
