Hazan, Amram

Hazan, Amram

Son of Menachem and Miriam. Born 1958 in the city of Paz, Morocco. In 1963 the family arrived in Israel with the large wave of immigration from Morocco. The family temporarily lived in Haifa and then moved to Nazareth Illit. When Amar finished the Arbel elementary school in Upper Nazareth, the conditions, which the family was in, forced him to go to work. At first he worked in a metalwork shop and later in the building. Amram was Simcha to be helped in his work to support his large family. He did not demand much for himself, because he was modest and contented himself with little. He liked a girlfriend, though he was shy by nature, and did not stand out. He maintained fraternal relations and friendship with all those around him. A special pleasure made him listen to music. On the day of his enlistment in the IDF – February 9, 1977 – Amram loved the military framework and his new friends, but Amram did not spare much of his praise of being in the IDF and his friends in service. (18.12.1977) Amram fell in the line of duty, and he was only 19 years old. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Upper Nazareth. Survived by his parents and five sisters.
