Calili, Michael

Son of Habib and Tais. He was born on December 10, 1935 in the city of Tikb in Peres. He arrived in Israel in 1951. He graduated from elementary school and began to study in an accounting course. Worked as a mixer. He belonged to the Ha – Po’el ha – Mizrachi movement. He was drafted into the IDF in May 1953 and completed his compulsory service, and after leaving Sinai, he fell in the battle of Rafah on the 27th of March 1956. He was buried for the emergency military cemetery in Bari and on the day 28.10.1957 was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
